Batteries are not for landfill

How can materials be re-used?
What can you do?
• Use the mains when possible.
• Use rechargeable batteries and a battery
charger.
NOTE rechargeable batteries are not
suitable for smoke alarms
• Use renewable power – solar or wind-up
power sources
• Join in with battery recycling schemes

A user friendly tool that enables anybody to
locate their nearest collection point for
redundant Batteries.
The site is automatically updated whenever
a new site is secured.
This aspect of the BatteryBack collection
network has proven to be very popular with
both retailers and local authorities, both of
whom are keen to promote this recycling
initiative.
The map identifies by post code the nearest
collection points and can also be used to
access links to obtain details on the sites
and their operators web sites.
