Compare and Contrast
1. Choose two characters to compare. These may be from the same
reading story or from two different stories we have read this year.
This task uses:
Venn Diagram Mobile App

2. Click on the web site http://www.readwritethink.org/classroomresources/mobile-apps/venn-diagram-a-30994.html OR use the mobile
app on the iPAD.
3. Follow the instructions provided by the app to create a Venn Diagram
comparing your two characters.
4. Print out your Venn Diagram.

Work with your table group to choose two characters to compare. Discuss the
similarities and differences with your partners. These may be from the same
reading story or from two different stories we have read this year.

Follow the instructions provided by the app to create a Venn Diagram comparing
your two characters. Work with your table group, each taking a turn to add more
information.
Save your Venn Diagram on the desktop.
Open your Venn Diagram pdf file in Word.
As a group, find and add pictures on Google to enhance your presentation.
Print your newly designed Venn Diagram to present as a group.
