THE HISTORY OF BLOGGING
The modern blog evolved from the online diary.
 By 2001, blogging was enough of a phenomenon
that how-to manuals began to appear, primarily
focusing on technique.
 It is estimated that blogging will peak in 2007,
leveling off when the number of writers who
maintain a personal website reaches 100 million.


Many blogs provide
commentary or news
on a particular subject
such as food, politics,
or local news; others
function as more
personal online
diaries.

blogs.

consequences.

 Employees who write about aspects of their

adverse consequences

TIPS FOR BLOGGING
Never offer any personal information
 Never post inappropriate pictures
 Assume what you publish on the Web is
permanent.

stated terms of use


Anyone on the Internet can easily print out a blog or
save it to a computer.
Make sure there is password protection
Keep blogs positive and don't use them for
slander or to attack others.
