What is applications software?

Applications software
‘software designed to carry out user related
tasks’
Today we will look at applications packages
‘off the shelf software packages designed
for a specific function’

world and then identify the effects of
changing variables’
What can it be used for?
Many uses – modelling the economy, 3D
architects models, Computer games,
population growth, nitrogen cycle – anything
with variables
