If you do have an existing homepage, DO
NOT use repeat the process of creating one
now.
 We will be doing all of this in a future lab.
These notes are posted here just for reference.

Steps (courtesy UCS)
You are allowed up to 30 MB of file storage
 Need a valid BSU computer username and
password
 Go to http://www.bsu.edu/frontpage
 Click on Personal/Course Web Site
 Read the policy and computer use
instructions, and then follow the link to
create you account.


Enter your BSU Computer Username
and Password
 After a few seconds your account will be
created. A web page that contains the
URL of your web site as well as the
address used to FTP files to your
account will be displayed.


Viewing and Updating
The URL to view your web pages will be
www.bsu.edu/web/username, with
"username" replaced by your BSU
computer username
 Use the FTP tutorial (in previous set of
slides) for help in updating your home
page

