K-4 Standards: A1,2,9 – Grade 1
Vocabulary
• Identify basic computer parts: computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse
• Uses proper vocabulary for on-screen items such as icons, software, shortcuts,
scroll bar
Operating System
• Logon/off the network
• Print to network printer
Icons
• Starts programs from the desktop
• Recognizes common icons such as print, save

• Can type at a rate of at least 10 wmp with a maximum of 10 errors
