Your customer friendly employees mirrored with a customer friendly site.
This presentation will cover the following aspects of our proposal;
•Background information
•Our plan
•Supplies, Materials and Equipment
•Personnel
•Expected Results and Benefits
•As usability testers, our job is to make sure that a
website is living up to its customer’s expectations.
•Testing criteria:
◦Usability
◦Visual Appeal
◦Readability
•Since your website reaches those with and with out
internet skills, it needs to be tailored in a way which
makes it easy to navigate for all.
 Viewers are most likely to scan a webpage, rather
than reading it completely.
Eye tracking visualizations show that users often read
Web pages in an F-shaped pattern: two horizontal
stripes followed by a vertical stripe.
 Users want fast downloads, simple hyperlinks, web
maps, and brief and simple words.
To determine which areas of the site were most problematic, several
different tasks and questions were asked to evaluate the sites ease of
navigation, as well as layout design.
Through preliminary testing, surprisingly enough, most of the users
came across the same issues with the website.
Areas of particular concern include;
Layout arrangement
Online ordering
Confidentiality
Discrepancies in grouping = Confusion to customers
When you can trade people for technology, you should do so.
Relieves in house associates.
Frees their time to do other tasks that you can’t use technology to do.
In the past has enabled companies to lay off entire divisions.

2. We need 25 computers as well as a control, for us to use.
3. Snacks and beverages for everyday we test
4. Twenty $25 gift cards to Best Buy to give to participants
5. One months time to complete the usability test
•Jennifer and Jason
Usability testers
•Jacob and Johnnie will bring new and fresh ideas to the table
Johnnie is web designer
Jacob is a web developer
They have both worked on major pages such as Yahoo! And Google
•We have put together a list of 625 participants that will be involved in this usability
test. These participants range in web knowledge everywhere from low to high.
Low knowing nothing, and high being pretty avid web browsers.
This usability test will greatly improve the way users browse your site.
It will give us a look at what is not going smoothly within your site.
It will give us ideas on how easy your site is to surf.
Lastly, it will put you at the top of the game, because with our team by your
side, you can’t go wrong.
