Protect the privilege of your privacy! Never give out your
personal information and do not disclose details of your
personal life to other users.
Not share your contact details with strangers.
Do not disclose passwords (password) that you use.
Do not attempt transactions over the Internet to buy
products and do not give data of credit cards.
When you visit websites do not fill out forms with the
above, when you are asked for.
People who know in the social media is not always who
they say they are. They may tell lies to earn your trust. Be
very careful!

Advices to pupils
for safer use of Web services (c)
Always keep in mind that the products of intellectual work
(Music, Literature, Movies, Video, etc.) are protected by laws
and their distribution via the Internet is an illegal practice.
Another illegal practice is the distribution of computer programs
(Software) unless these are belonging to the category of Free
Software (Open Source software).
Do not use uncritically any program that you have found on the
Internet. Not all programs are safe, even if they appear as toys.
Maybe these are containing trojans and viruses that can harm
your computer and your data.
Do not open e-mail from unknown senders with strange topics
(subject) or without issue. It is very likely to contain viruses.
See http://internet-safety.sch.gr for more information.
