Wiki: what is It??
• Wiki is Hawaiian for quick or quickly
• It’s an online collaborative authoring tool
allowing for anyone (with an account) to:
– Create
– Edit
– Delete
How can I use it at my library?
• Replace the reference desk notebook!
– Particularly challenging assignments
• Environment to draft policies and manuals
• Promote local attractions and services
• Promote user services
– Solicit feedback (begin the dialogue)
– Easy to update subject guides
• Use it as a teaching tool

Login Password: INCOL (all caps)
