Steps in Meiosis

Meiosis is preceded
by interphase. The
chromosomes have
not yet condensed.

The nuclear membrane
dissolves and the
homologous

the spindle fibers. They
are preparing to go to

The chromosomes move to
opposite ends of the cell.
