• Can be separated physically.
• Solutions are one kind of mixture.
• Solutions are mixtures of two or more
substances that are spread out evenly.

Concentration of Solutions
• Concentrated means strong
examples; frozen orange juice in a can,
powdered milk, can of soda,
• Diluted means weak
examples; orange juice mixed in jug with
water, powdered milk mixed with water,
soda in melted ice

homogeneous
mixtures
Because they look the SAME throughout the mixture.

consisting of parts that are visible
