MakSim was born in Kazan in 1983.
Her real name is Marina Maximova.
It’s her screen name. When she was
12, she started to sing. She also
went in for sport.
After she left school,
MakSim went to Moscow.
She came to a recording
studio called "Gala
Records” and signed a
contract with it.
In March 2006MakSim
made her first album. It
was called
“Difficult Age”.
When DJs played it on their radio
stations, Russian teenagers went
wild.
The album was a great success. And
in 2006 "Gala Records launched a
DVD with video of the first Moscow
concert. This DVD was a bestseller.
MakSim got married in 2008.
The wedding was in Indonesia. Her
husband’s name is Alex Lugovtsov.
The singer gave birth to a little girl
in 2009 on March 8. Her daughter’s
name is Alexandra.
