Do you think you could look and feel better?
Is your health “fair” but not quite where you want it to be?
Did you have a part in giving companies like Frito Lay and Little
Debbie millions of dollars last year?
Are the words “carbohydrates, glucose, saturated fat, fiber, or
protein” pig Latin to you?
Are you clueless as to how to correctly and effectively solve any of
the problems listed above?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then You, my friend, are a
dietary dummy.
But don’t panic! I have come to save the day, and possibly your life…
Do You Know What You’re Doing?
Eating unhealthy and not being concerned about
your food can lead to many problems in the body
like heart failure, obesity, blood clots, or even
possibly death. Basing your regular diet on fast
foods and foods with high contents of fat, sugar,
and salt is not good in favor of your body at all. I
am blissful that you have come to me for guidance
so that you won’t go down that path. I will not let
you or your health down.
Forgot what “Unhealthy” is?

Your meal was designed specifically to fit the needs of someone
like you—just getting started with eating right after Little Debbie took
its toll.
Your entire intake for the day will leave you full and not wanting
to pick up any unhealthy snacks. Plus, you’ve got your fair doses of
proteins, carbs, lipids, vitamins, minerals, and water (still to come). In
that sentence alone, you’ve just gained a whole lot of energy,
strengthened your muscles, added on your cell membranes, grew
your hair and nails, raged your hormones, and sent your blood
rushing through your body.
Okay dummy (dietary dummy, that is), your beverage
choices (liquid intake) is quite simple.
Keep away from the sodas. They rot your teeth and are
packed with sugars and unwanted artificial substances.
Energy drinks (Red Bull, Rockstar, Vault) are also packed
with sugar.
No alcohol!
Milk is a great source of protein.
Fruit based drinks packed with vitamins and nutrients
are great and fit into all of your meals.
DRINK WATER!!
Water is the number one nutrient essential to your body.
You can’t live without it. Facts:
Your body is more than 60% water.
Your brain is 75% water.
Water helps remove the dangerous toxins that your body takes in from the air you
breathe, the food you eat and the chemicals used in the various products you
use on your skin and hair. Other things water does for your body is to cushion your
joints. Water carries oxygen and nutrients into all your cells. Water also helps
regulate your body temperature.
You need water to keep your metabolism working properly. In order for this to
happen, there is a certain level of water in each of our bodies that we need to
maintain. If we don't keep that amount, our bodies will start to dehydrate. An easy
way to think of it is to think of your car's need for oil. If your oil level gets too low,
your engine will start to run rough. If you totally deplete your oil supply in your car,
your engine will stop running. Same with your body. Therefore it is easy to see why
it is very important to drink six to eight glasses of water a day.
Some of the things that may happen to your body if you do not have enough
water are that your blood pressure can fall to dangerously low levels. Blood clots
may form. Your normal kidney function is impaired. You may get terrible
constipation.
Here are some enzymes that specifically help digest your
meals:
Amylase
Lactase
Diastase
Sucrase
Maltase
Protease
Pepsin
Peptidase
Pectinase
Xylanase
Your Enzymes…
Amylase-breaks down carbs, starches, and sugars
Lactase-breaks down lactose (milk sugars)
Sucrase-digests vegetable starch
Maltase-digests disaccharides to monosaccharides
Protease-breaks down proteins
Pepsin-breaks down proteins into peptides
Peptidase-breaks down small peptide proteins in to
amino acids
Pectinase-breaks down the pectin in fruit
Xylanase-breaks down xylan sugars, works well with
grains such as corn
Eating healthy helps you look and feel
your best, but if weren’t sure where to start,
then you picked the right plan. Incorporating
carbs, proteins, lipids, vitamins, minerals, and
water into your daily lifestyle.
Being new to nutrition is probably never
easy, but with the right plan and the right
determination, anyone can do it—even you!
So embrace your new, personalized
menu and show the trans fat world that when
it comes to dietary, you are definitely no
dummy!
