Connection between Geonodo and Geoportal of Chile is realized by means of the
URL of the WMS appearing in the metadata record of map services (ISO 19119).
Geonodo administrator must have a user account in the Geoportal of Chile for
uploading the XML of metadata records generated by Geonodo.

Communication
Geospatial World Forum 2013 – Rotterdam, The Netherlands
As we have focused on a citizen approach, many good
things had happened:
1. Our authorities understand *better* our work
2. We have boosted up the interoperability of
Geoportal
3. We have had press appearences, a little step
towards having a spatial enabled society.
GSDI 13 Conference - May 2012 - Quebec
Next steps
Understand the needs from municipalities so to help the
build useful geoportals - geonodos.
Work on parcel or cadaster information.
Attend new needs through geoportal: for instance,
implement basic geoprocess.
Launch the national geoportal.
The new SDI law will change the scenario.
