Maintaining regular preventative patrols and assisting motorists and
other members of the public.

Specific educational requirements for state police vary by state. State
police generally must possess a high school diploma, and an associates
degree or 60 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of
higher learning at time of application.
Must usually be a state resident, have a valid drivers license and be a U.S.
citizen. Police are also required to pass an oral test, and under go a
medical examination, drug test and psychological evaluation. They must
also complete training at the State Police Academy.

The Job outlook is predicted to grow from
2010-2020 by seven percent. The predicted
number of jobs in 2020 is about 850,000.

The average pay when starting off is around
$54,000 though after a while you can make
up to almost $90,000 a year




A high school diploma is a typical requirement though more
then 1/3 of Insurance sales agents have bachelors degrees.
Public speaking classes will help.
Many agents have job shadowed previous agents to get on
the job training.
Many states also require you to have a license and some
organizations offer certifications to show agents areas of
expertise





projected to grow 22% from 2010-2020.
The projected employment in 2020 is
estimated to be around 501,000.
The median pay of insurance agents in 2010 was about
$45,000.
 Many agents are paid by commission only and the amount
depends on the type of insurance sold.
 The top ten percent made more then $100,000 average and
the lowest ten percent made about $25,000 average.




