safely before starting.
Wear the Right Gear
· Safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and
proper footwear is a must. Avoid loose
clothing and jewelry that might get caught in
the equipment. Wear a hat and sunscreen
while working outside.
Use the Right Tools for the Job
·
Skill saws are not tree pruners!
Keep the Work Area Cleared
· Replace tools when finished. Pick up bags,
branches and debris. Tell kids and pets to
stay a safe distance away.
Practice Power Tool Safety
·
Read and follow safety guidelines in the
owner’s manual.
Keep a First-Aid Kit Close
·
So, you’re not Ty Pennington. Accidents
happen!
Know Your Limits
·
Listen to your gut! If you are uncomfortable
with a tool or procedure, call a professional.
