●Basic Objective
Implementing comprehensive measures for ending the third period of
stimulant drug abuse in Japan as soon as possible and to make a
positive contribution to solving the global problem of drug abuse
◆Objective 1. Eradicating drug abuse by young people
◆Objective 2. Eliminating illicit drug trafficking organizations and
exercising thorough control over end-users
◆Objective 3. Interdicting drug smuggling at the border and
promote international cooperation

treatment and rehabilitation into society of drug dependents, and
enriching support for their families

Improvement of Drug Law Enforcement in
Thailand and its neighboring countries
-Strengthening anti-drug measures in the Golden Triangle area,
the world largest illicit drug cultivation area
-Phase 1:2002-2005
-Phase 2:2006.Sep-
1) Enhancing technical cooperation focusing on capacity building of
drug analysis for improvement in Thailand and its neighboring countries
(Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam)
2) Long term dispatchment of experts in the field of drug control analysis
to the Office of Narcotic Control Bureau
