24/7 number to call in case of suspected
poisonous exposures anywhere throughout the
U.S.
 Specialized toxicologists, nurses or pharmacists
will answer the call
 70% of poisonous exposures can be handled at
home by calling the poison center, which cuts
down on emergency room costs


substance abuse. The kit provides a PowerPoint presentation and videos with
tips on how to start the conversation about substance abuse and steps
towards getting teens back on a drug-free track.
