adverse consequences

• Drug Dependence
• Three or more of these seven
symptoms
1) Developing tolerance to the substance =
lower sensitivity to drug so that a given
dose no longer exerts the usually effect
and larger doses are needed
2) Experiencing withdrawal = symptoms
that follow the interrupted use of a drug
