Some concept points for ScanBalt
Knowledge Centers to be discussed
• Bottom up
• Transnational
• Selfgoverned
• Can be virtual, physical or a combination
• Can utilize ScanBalt as an umbrella or
platform for activities after own choice
ScanBalt Campus Knowledge
Centers – WP Methodology
• Examples of potential new knowledge
centers in advance identified through the
ScanBalt network
• Promote ScanBalt Campus as a tool for
transnational knowledge centers through
the ScanBalt network
• Dialogue and meetings with new potential
knowledge centers
• Promote coordination between knowledge
centers – meetings between coordinators
WP Methodology….two key points to
stress
• To be a catalyst for the initiation of new
transnational knowledge centers and the
affiliation of existing activities into ScanBalt
Campus
• To not interfere directly with the activities
of the individual centers
