In The Beginning…
Arbroath & District Crime Prevention Panel hold an open seminar to look at
the issues surrounding youth crime within the Arbroath area.
Concerns raised in the following areas:
• Substance misuse
• Crime
• Unemployment
• Social Deprivation
• Neglect
• Mental Health
• Wellbeing
Street Games for All
The Aims
• Encourage socially-acceptable behaviour.
• Provide an alternative to life on the street and substance misuse.
• Encourage equality between males and females.
• Promote the development of social and interpersonal skills.
• Promote safety for young people by channelling their energies into sport in a structured manner.
• Promote health by involvement in sport.
• Reconnect young people with the mainstream.
• Promote the employability of young people.
