budgeted for.
We were paying the County
$90,000.
We now pay the Shelter $65,000.
Added part-time person to help
with licensing.
We will not bring in enough money
to cover costs this year.

What is DDACTS?
DDACTS is an operational
model that uses the integration
of location-based crime and
traffic data to establish effective
and efficient methods for
deploying law enforcement
and other resources.
How long has DDACTS been used?

Data Driven approaches have
gone through several name
changes and ways to curb crime –
You may have heard it called
CompSTAT, Community Policing,
or Directed Patrol. They are in
essence a portion of DDACTS. So
the concept has been around
many years.

Does any other departments in
Idaho use DDACTS?
Several other departments in Idaho are
using or preparing to use this model to
include Meridian Police, ISP, and Nampa
Police. In fact, next month, Nampa
Police and Caldwell Police are working
together to do a big ‘kick off’ of this
program. This will be done starting in
early July just after the fourth of July
holiday.
