Employer Responsibilities for Driver License Status
• Remove knowingly from 383.37
No defect DVIR
• Remove requirement to submit & maintain no defect DVIRs
Denial of Access OOS order
• Give authority to place OOS when access is not given
(compare to N.E.)
Motor Coach Safety Rating
• Requires FMCSA to rate motor coach service provider every 3 years.
 future SFD rulemaking?
 Intent to still audit every 3 years.
Foreign Driver Disqualification
• Grant USDOT authority to revoke a foreign driver’s license (383.51)
