RMP needs a paradigm shift to meet the
present and future challenges.

to stay continously relevant.

basic Principles of Integrity serve as a path
to what is proper in most work situations
(Credibility, reliability & trust)
Personal
and professional integrity
is the most important attribute

“Detectives have had an elite status in
police department. Their pay was higher,
their hours of duty were more flexible, their
supervision was more permissive, uniform
were not worn, and the work was regarded
as inherently more interesting than routine
patrol”

5. Leveraging on Technology
to Ensure Integrity

The C4I system essentially being a command and
control tool is also being used as a mechanism to
monitor police officers in patrol cars and prevent


Plans are on the way to fix cameras on patrol vehicles so
that all activities of the police officers are monitored on
CCTV and recorded.
