James Roberts Bio
Jamie has been employed with Ohio EPA for over 14 years and has a total of 17
years experience in the environmental field. He has a Master of Science in
Geology from Kent State University and a Master of Business Administration
with an emphasis on eBusiness & eCommerce development, multi-directional
marketing, and enterprise-level management information systems. He has
been working in the Division of Surface Water for the past 10+ years primarily
focusing on the development and implementation of the electronic discharge
monitoring report (eDMR) online data submittal system; providing system
outreach and permit compliance technical assistance. Prior to his current
position, Jamie spent four years in the Division of Environmental Response &
Revitalization as a Risk Assessment Coordinator for the Voluntary Action
Program. Prior to his employment with Ohio EPA, Jamie spent three years in
environmental consulting working as a Staff Hydrogeologist focusing on well
field evaluation, development and monitoring; conducting geophysical surveys,
GIS and environmental modeling.
