TIPS
1. It’s not an essay it’s a REPORT.
2. Use GRAPHS and DATA from reliable sources.
3. Back the data /graphs with reliable sources.
Where to get RELIABLE SOURCES from?
1. Scholarly Journals.
2. Be specific when looking for journals – e.g. health journals when
finding specific data for health related issues.
3. Look at reports as well from the journals.
WHERE TO GET DATA FROM ?
(OTHER THAN MARKET LINE )
1. Look at country reports from consulting firms
and banks (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, HSBC).
2. Business Monitor International
3. Data Monitor
4. Government Websites
5. World Bank and IMF websites

FEEDBACK for report
POSITIVE FEEDBACK
1. Clear.
2. Detailed Implications (talking about crime – investment and
costs)
3. Recent References
NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
1. Had many paragraphs.
2. Too many GRAPHS - Sometimes a reference is enough to
substantiate a claim, you don’t always need graphs.
3. Didn’t include a general analysis of the factors that were not
included (e.g. in the case of a PESTLE, we didn’t give a
detailed analysis on ‘TLE’ but we could have given a general
overview on them).
PRESENTATION
1.CREATIVITY is IMPORTANT.
2.CLARITY is IMPORTANT. Make sure the
presentation is NOT rushed.
3.Cover all the material in the report.
4.All members of the group are not required to
speak in the presentation.
5.At any point in time the video should not feel
monotonous or boring.
