TURKEY’S MAIN PORTS & DRY PORTS
PORTS OF ISTANBUL
Istanbul at present has two main Container Ports in operation. One of these
terminals is located within the Asian side area, HAYDARPASA PORT which is
5kms away from city centre and the second one is located within the
European side , AMBARLI PORT , which is approximately 30 km away from
the city.

 The Haydarpasa port is the oldest and first container port of
Istanbul and its owed by goverment. At the moment only some
limited carriers , such as Maerks, Cma, YML, Evergreen, Cscl and
some few one , call at this port. This old port will be probably
removed within a few years cause its too much close to city centre.
AMBARLI PORT

The port is located in Europe side of Istanbul, which is the most of the export & import
companies located side. The port have four main terminals named Marport West,
Marport main, Marport East and Kumport terminals. Ambarli port is one of the biggest
ports in Europe and most of the main carriers call at this port by getting full range of
services as well as warehouse and CFS facilities. Generally lcl export consolidation
shipments is handled in this port and terminals is chosen according to carrier’s prefer.

Marine which is the name of sea seperate Istanbul‘s Europe and Asian
Sides.

EXPORT CONSOLIDATION PROCESS
• We arrange the trucking operation with our own trucks.
• The custom clear operation can be made by shipper’s custom
agents or we can also arrange this service by our office.
• The export consolidation cargo stuffing operations:
