Introduction:
• The Wiifoolem Ad Agency is looking for a team of
students to head up its new advertising department.
The job pays well, so there will be a lot of
competition for the position! Limited TV watching
experience required. Through our training program,
you will pick up tips from the pros on how to
advertise effectively. If interested, continue...
Group Task
• The task of this WebQuest is to learn the
many different ways advertisers sell their
products to the public.
• Create a new product to sell including
packaging and an ad poster.
• Create a script for a commercial selling
your new product, and film it in front of the
class!
Process
Before you choose roles, brainstorm what your new product
will be. After you all agree on a product type and name,
your group of four students will need to choose their roles
within the group:

Once you have perfected your skills, use a

paper and pencil to draw a rough draft of
your product.
Work with the Project Manager to create a
poster to advertise for your product.
Create a list of materials you will need to
complete your final product design. You
may use an existing product to cover with
paper, use a box of tissues, water bottle..
Etc. (you and your group might have to
bring in some materials from home)
