Soft-copy output: Output is not produced on a paper
or some material that can be touched. For example,
contents displayed on monitor.
Hard-copy output: Output is produced on a paper or
some material that can be touched. For example, output
produced by printer.

viewed by number of persons simultaneously.
Temporary soft copy device.

Provides output in the form of sound.
Used in automated multimedia presentations, automatic
answering machines, alarm clocks etc.
