 The
metaphor of an iceberg
can be used to illustrate the
concept of the unconscious
mind of which more than 4/5th is
beneath the water.
 The unconscious part of our
mind serves as the reservoir of
our feelings, thoughts, urges,
memories, etc, that are outside
of our conscious awareness,
- most of which are repressed, but
make them known through:
 Our dreams
 Trials/Temptations
 Direct revelations
 Provocations
 Probing questions/interrogations
 Slips of tongue (Freudian slips)
Strong
holds do not
reside in the conscious
mind. They dwell in the
sub-conscious mind.
FAITH IMPEDANCE
Impedance as an electrical
term is used to describe the
opposition to the flow of an
alternating current in a circuit
when a voltage is applied.
