The Mentor Concept
ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED
• Uses a vertical layout, with a small footprint, very
important for on site test. The unit can be used in small
places.
• Does not require a table or support,
offers a comfortable & safe
working position to the operator.
Also, can support the computer.
• The ability to move the AIC Display, it is possible to
adapt to the light condition and working arrangement
for the best view and reaching
The Mentor Concept
ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED
• All connections are made on
the right side, leaving the other
sides open, cable free.
•It is possible to operate from
2 positions as the AIC display
can be moved 270º.
• The integrated handles remain
hidden during use.

The Mentor Concept
ADAPTIVE INTEGRATED CONTROL (AIC)
• This is the main difference between the Mentor and any
other test unit
• It is a large TFT 8” Touch-panel Display that along with the
internal PC-104.
• Based on the concept “Touch and Turn”, the selection of
different test conditions, internal unit configurations, test
setups previously saved….., etc is easy and FAST!!
•With a firmware custom built platform based on “Windows
CE.net
The Mentor Concept
ADAPTIVE INTEGRATED CONTROL (AIC)
• The Development Platform also allows the use of powerful
software such as Visual C++ or Advance Visual Basic to
create the firmware.
• Mentor is able to manage an Ethernet connection, read a
“hard drive stick”, use an external keypad and/or a mouse,
read and show PDF Acrobat files, Word files, Excel Data,
etc…. .
The Mentor Concept
ADAPTIVE INTEGRATED CONTROL (AIC)
The following can be accomplished from AIC
• CONFIGURATION of the unit at all levels
• BASIC CONTROL which allows the total raw control of
all the power outputs and its parameters.
• ADVANCED CONTROL which makes easy to perform
Ramps, Timing and Faults.
•STATES SEQUENCER which makes it easy and fast to
program Faults or states sequences and corresponding
triggers from the I/O section. Download any sequence
produced from the most popular Fault Programs
(Aspen,..etc
The Mentor Concept
ADAPTIVE INTEGRATED CONTROL (AIC)
•
FAULT PLAYBACK a day by day more necessary task is
performed from the AIC thus avoiding the use of an
external computer.
• SMART TEST TOOLS preprogrammed test routines for
relay functions, Transducers, and Meters.
• RESULTS MANAGER to save and manage obtained
results
• TEST MANAGER saves and restores test configurations.
•REMOTE CONTROL allows control from an external
computer with RTS Software, firmware updates and unit
calibration.
