What is data logging?
• Data logging is the collection of
information from the environment

The information is captured by different
sensors

There are sensors to capture information
on motion, force, current, voltage, etc.

The information is stored for subsequent
or simultaneous analysis and
presentation

Presentation can take a variety of forms
e.g. graph, numerical tables

The idea is to allow the student to focus
on analysis of the data collected
