What is EMIT SIM?
 EMIT SIM (Smart Ionization & Monitoring) is software designed to monitor and record the
activity of EMIT’s line of Smart Products
 This list of products includes:
 Zero Volt Ionizer
 Zero Volt Monitor
 Zero Volt Monitor Solo
 Dual Programmable Monitor
 Ultra Low Voltage Monitor
(Bench Top and Overhead)
(Dual Operator and Workstation)
(Single Operator and Workstation)
 EMIT SIM uses serial number tracking to manage re-calibration schedules for each device
 All monitoring is done via a 2 wire serial RS-485 daisy-chained bus. Total cable length of
each loop must be less than 1,200 meters (~4,000 feet).
 Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
(32-bit and 64-bit)

Calibration Schedule Management




Use the Calibration Log to manage device serial numbers and their calibration dates
EMIT SIM periodically checks all calibration dates to determine if the device is due for re-calibration
Set calibration frequency settings for each device type (1 -12 months)
EMIT SIM will send an e-mail and display an alert when a device is due for calibration
