To provide a safe place where abused women can
be rehabilitated to become self-sufficient,
productive members of society.

To facilitate the rehabilitation of abused
women through programmes aimed at
reshaping their moral and ethical values,
by providing help for their spiritual, emotional
and physical well being and providing financial
management skills, thus empowering them
to build better families and communities.
 oDevelopment of a God consciousness
with moral and ethical values
through Bible study, workshops,
mentoring program (inclusive of a
buddy system) drama … etc.
 oEmpowerment for abused women
through education programs, which
cater to the development of basic life
skills such as numeracy, literacy, proper
diet and exercise.
The name Nekevah is the Hebrew word used
for female in Genesis 1:27 “So God Created
Man…..Male (Zakar) and female (Nekevah)
created he them.”
 oEnhancement of their opportunities for
employment by exposing them to
training options, government
programs and other institutions which
lend support to nationals.
 oProvision of training in social graces
and financial planning.
Abused women aged 15-50
from Trinidad and Tobago. Survivors of
domestic violence (i.e. women and their
children) whose lives are in danger and in
urgent need of a temporary shelter. Children
are accepted along with their mothers.
 oProvision of counseling services
needed to build healthy family
relationships and self-esteem.
