The Worlds Biomes

Rainforest Biome
• Rain forests can be found on almost every continent by
the equator.
• The rainfall is 3 meters per year.
• Jambu Fruit Dove is an animal here that Is really fat with
a long but small body.
• The bird is orange and yellow with eyes the color brown
or red.
• A bougainvillea is a flower here that grows flowers on it
that can be pink, red, orange, white, or yellow.
• Adaptations: The Jambu Fruit Dove never leaves its nest
& eats fruits right from the trees. A Bougainvillea climbs
on or has a competition with other plants to get sunlight,
and they have drip tips on them to get rid of water.

Deciduous Forest

• They are mostly in Europe.
• Lots of animals and plants are found here.
• A Least Weasel lives here and it has a long yet short
body with long nails.
• It is the color brown or white and has short ears.
• A plant called the Guelder Rose is wheel shaped and
has five flowers on the outside.
• The rose can have red or purple leaves .
• Adaptations: The weasel can kill up to five times its size.
The rose takes over other plants land space for room.
Grassland Biome

They are mostly found in mid west America.
Tons of animals live here.
The Corsac fox has long legs and large ears.
They are usually the colors silver, white, or a reddish gray
and they are very social animals.
• The Milk Vetch is a cold weather plant with a couple of
stems.
• It has soft hair all over and has lavender or purple flowers.
• Adaptations: The fox hides in its burrow to stay away from
predators. The Milk Vetch has a long root to get water deep
in the ground.

Taiga Biome

• Their trees mostly have needles.
• They have very cold weather in the winter.
• The Snowshoe Rabbit has large rear feet and have fur
on the bottom of them.
• They are a pure white color.
• The Paper Birch is a tall tree with a white trunk and tiny
flowers.
• Adaptations: The rabbit is really fast to get away from
predators easily. The Paper Birch is really tall so it can
get sun.

Very hot weather.
The desert gets very little rain.
The desert Tortoise is not really a shy animal.
It has strong front legs and they are flattened with
sharp long nails.
It has a brown and round shell.
The Barrel Cactus has a cylinder body with super
sharp needles.
It can grow up between 5 -11 ft. tall.
It grows either yellow, green, or red blossoms.
Adaptations: The Tortoise digs burrows to survive in
very hot or cold weather.
Tundra Biome

• The Tundra is a very cold place.
• The tundra gets very little rain.
• The Tundra has an animal called the Arctic Fox, it has
a long tail and short legs.
• The fox is white, grey, and a type of light blue color.
• The pasque flower is a plant that has silky hairs on its
stems.
• It is the colors lavender, white, and yellow.
• Adaptations: The Arctic Fox makes homes in the
ground which they hide in when there are predators
around.
