Study of Deep Seated Mining, Mineral Processing and other
aspects of Mechanized Mining in respect of Metallic
minerals
Copper Ore; Gold; Nickel; PGE
Experience and technology developed by the Canadian
companies for mining deeper levels by opencast methods,
deployment of modern machinery and equipment would
certainly helpful to Indian counterparts for applications of
same in Indian mines.

2. Capacity building and Skill development for effective
functioning and performance as regulator- Short Term
Training Courses
a) Monitoring of Reconnaissance operations (Arial Surveys)
for exploration and data analysis and interpretations.
b) Mine planning and design with advanced software's.
b) Environmental aspects of mining and mineral processing
with particular reference to Environmental Auditing.
d) Technology options for reclamation and rehabilitations of
mined out areas and effective mine closure planning
f) Development of suitable underground mining techniques
in soft and friable ore bodies and weak walls.
g) Technology issues of agglomeration, sintering and
pellatisation in respect of iron ore
