• Seaweeds are slippery and green.

• Sharks have sharp teeth.
• Sharks are one of the biggest animals.

• Snails walk slowly and leave slime behind
them.
• Snails are considered a delicacy in French
cuisine.
clam
• The shell of the clam closes tightly
• Clams are one of my dad’s favorite dishes.
starfish
• Starfish are usually in the beach shores.
• If you touch a starfish, you will get a rash.
dolphin
• Dolphins are very cute and playful.
• The aquarium was full of people watching
the dolphins’ show.
jellyfish
• Jellyfish are sea creatures.
• If you touch a jellyfish, you will receive an
electric touch.
eel
• Eels live in the deep caves of the ocean.
• Electrical eels can kill you.
crab
• Blue crabs are native of Maryland.
• Crab cakes are delicious and nutritious.

Manta Ray

Sea turtle

• Sea turtles dig a hole in the shore for their
eggs.

one of the main attractions for scuba

• I would like to see the coral reefs.

their preys.

• Penguins are white on the front and black
on the back.
• Penguins like to live in the Antarctic
waters.

• Bear are huge and heavy animals.
• Bears usually hibernate during the winter
time.

• Sheep skin is covered by wool.
• My aunt has a lot of sheep in her farm.
giraffe
• Giraffes have very long necks.
• Giraffes eat the leaves in the highest parts
of the trees.
zebra
• Zebra have black and white stripes.
• Zebras are originally from Africa.
monkey
• Monkeys are very smart animals.
• During our trip to the zoo, we saw different
kids of monkeys.
bird
• Birds vary in size, some are small like the
red robin and some are big like the ostrich.
• Birds have wings that allow them to fly.
alligator
• Alligators have sharp teeth and powerful
jaws.
• Alligator are reptiles whose skin is very
valuable.

• Tigers are carnivores and predators.
• The deer was captured by the tiger.

• The lion is the king of the jungle.
• Male lions have a heavy mane around the
neck and shoulders.

• Elephants are herbivores.
• Elephants have long trunks and large fanshaped ears.

• My sister’s cat is very spoiled and

• Dogs are men’s best friend.
• My dog is a mix of Doberman and German
Shepard.

• Some spiders are venomous but most are

• Ticks are bloodsucking parasites.

• Butterflies have vibrant colors.
• The butterfly flew from flower to flower.

• The farm was full of chickens.
• A female chicken is called “hen”, a male
chicken is called “rooster” and a baby
chicken is called “chick”

• The pond was full of different kinds of
ducks.
• Ducks are swimming birds.

• Hamsters are a small animals, rather like a fat
rat without a tail.
• Hamsters make wonderful pets.

• Snake are very slimy and have no legs or arms.
• Some snakes can be poisonous and deadly.

• Bees help pollinate our flowers
• There are even Queen bees!
• A lot of bees help make honey for us to eat. 
wasp
• Wasps are very fast and sometimes look like
bees.
• Wasps are worse than bees, some wasps can
be very mean and sting you!
pig
• Pigs are pink and usually a little fat.
• Pigs are mammals, and their little pig babies
grow up really fast.
cow
• Cows are usually white with black spots.
• Cows give us milk and beef for us to eat.
horse
• Horses are also mammals and their baby horses
are pretty big.
• We use horses to race, help take us places, and
sometimes just for a loving pet.
frog
• Frogs have rough slimy skin, when they are
babies they are called “Tadpoles.”
• Frogs can jump really high
turtle
• Turtles have hard shells and like to swim.
• They hide in their shell whenever they are
scared.
mouse
• Mice have long scaly tails and like to hide in dark
places.
• Mice like to eat cheese a lot.
fly
• Flies have a lot of germs, they eat trash and other
disgusting stuff.
• Flies have compound eyes which means they have more
than two eyes.
squirrel
• Squirrels like to live in trees and come down to eat nuts,
fruit, and other small things.
• They also make nests up in their tree when it is Winter
time.
worm
• Worms are disgusting animals, but we do use them to
fish with.
• Worms help break leaves and other trash that is on the
ground, so they help out a lot with cleaning up.
