The Apple Tree in Winter
In the winter, the apple tree branches
are bare. Sometimes the trees are
decorated with strings of popcorn
and berries for the birds to eat.
The Apple Tree in Spring
In the spring buds on the trees swell.
Soon they break into leaves and
blossoms. Spring showers and warm
sunshine help white or pink flowers
to bloom.
The Apple Tree in Summer
With warm rain and bright sunshine
small green apples begin to appear.
During the summer many people
enjoy the sheltering boughs of the
apple trees.
The Apple Tree in Autumn
In the fall the apple trees have big,
red, tasty apples. The green leaves
have turned golden. They drift to the
ground.
