A biome is a large geographical area of plants and
animals that have adapted to live there.
Where it Is on a map.
Consumers, Producers, and Decomposers.
Producer- Creosote bush, Desert flower, Desert
sand verbena, Joshua tree, and the Mesquite
tree.
Consumer- Big horn sheep, chuckwalla,
Coyote, Jackrabbit, Sidewinder snake,
And a zebra tailed lizard.
Decomposer- the earth worm, and the
Dung beetle.
The climate and terrain of the
Mojave Desert
It is very hot in the desert it can sometime get
up to 100-110 degrees. But at night it can get
down to the low 40’s or the50’s at night. The
terrain of the Mojave desert is covered by sand,
gravel, and clay. Many mountains ranges,
basins and large expanses of salt flats.

Two carnivores are the Coyote and the
Sidewinder.
Two herbivores are the kangaroo rat and

is food to some desert animals.

can bloom in the spring.
