Clean the kitchen! ¡Limpia la cocina! Use affirmative tú commands with a friend or family member. Regular affirmative tú commands use the él/ ella form of the present tense for all verbs. IRREGULAR TÚ COMMANDS verb Decir Hacer Ir Poner Salir Ser Tener Venir A tú C Di Pon Sé Ten Haz Ve Sal Ven If you use an affirmative command with a direct object pronoun, attach the pronoun to the end. (Lo, la, los, las) Add an accent when you attach a pronoun to a command of two or more syllables. Irregular commands do not need an accent. ¡Haz la cama! ¡Hazla! Accents: Command with 2 syllables – 1st vowel- ¡Compra el pastel! - ¡Cómpralo! Command with 3 syllables- 2nd vowel - ¡Prepara la comida! - ¡Prepárala! Exceptions for stem-changing verbs- 2nd vowel of stem-change- ¡Cierra la ventana!- ¡ciérrala! WRITING •Write a story about a party and include 7 irregular verbs in your writing. This can include the organization of the party and asking your friends for help. Continue with your story and describe how you and your friends will clean up after the party. Include 6 irregular commands and at least 3 regular commands. Make sure you use vocabulary from this unit and include the different rooms in the house along with chores. Be creative!
