The forms
• Present perfect subjunctive is
formed by using the present
subjunctive of haber + the past
participle.

Past Participles
• Regular verbs form their participles by
removing the –ar, --er, or –ir and adding
-ado or –ido to the end.
• Remember that many verbs in Spanish have
irregular participles that must be
memorized. For example:
• Ver—visto
• Hacer--hecho
The uses
• To express emotion, judgment, doubt, or
hope about something that has already
happened.
• When a present or future verb in the main
clause governs a subjunctive verb which
refers to a past action.
Por ejemplo
• Indicative
• Juan recibe tu carta.
• Juan ha recibido tu carta.
• Subjunctive
• Espero que Juan reciba tu carta.
• Espero que Juan haya recibido tu carta.
