The subjunctive
The subjunctive is used in French when something is a
possibility or dependent on something.
For GCSE, you don’t need to be able to form it, just to
recognise it as certain phrases are always followed by
the subjunctive.
Avant que ce soit…… = Before it’s……..
Bien qu’il y ait….. = Although there is/are
À condition que ce soit…… = On the condition that
it’s…..
