time .
This report is a requirement to be able to take her final exams in
vocational schools State 3 OKU . Moreover, I also hope that this report will be

1.1 Background of activity report
In the cement industry in the era of modern Indonesia , the world industry of
our country developing very rapidly along with the widespread types of products in the
industry today in our country there are some industries that produce quality cement
results including Balfour cement plant , cement plant Padang , cement plants Coarse
sand and others. The complexity of processing raw materials into raw materials , raw
materials into finished material has been applied professionally by a cement factory in
indonesia.PT . Semen Baturaja( Persero ) as the main supplier of cement southern
Sumatran region and support the availability of supply of cement in the country . PT.
Semen Baturaja ( Persero ) produce type I portland cement types that meet the
Indonesian National Standard ( SNI ) with a system mutuISO 9001-2000 . With a
system that is able to manage all the process will create an atmosphere of good work
and motivation of human resources . Specifically Balfour cement producing portland
cement type 1 and required equipment capable of moving / distributing materials such
as clay cement major , because that's required by the equipment and the effective

We are very happy to be a part of PT. Semen Baturaja although only a
few months, here we can add our experience and knowledge. Here we can also
add to our knowledge, in which we can gain knowledge that can not be

3.1 CONCLUSION
And results of industrial work practices that have been the author
created, the writer can conclude as follows:
1. PT. Semen Baturaja is the main staple cement importation of cement in
southern Sumatra.
2. System information used by PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) is good
enough, the relationship LAN network so that workers can run smoothly.
3. Planning and maintenance needs to be done so that all the plant
equipment can be used with either.
3.2 SUGGESTION
The advice can I give them:
1. In conducting supervision should always pay attention to safety,
especially helmets, masks, and clothing factories.
2. Give warning signs in case one particular area is very dangerous.
