 Integrated Broadcast-Broadband (IBB) Systems
are emerged
– IBB Systems are discussed in ITU-R / ITU-T
 Hybridcast is an IBB system developed in Japan
– Standard specifications for Hybridcast has been
completed at ARIB & IPTV-Forum Japan
– Hybridcast enhances broadcast services by
simultaneous use of Internet content
– Hybridcast is using HTML5
– Hybridcast service will start soon

Proposed Resolution
It is proposed to add the following
sentences to the present resolution:
Considering:
e) that technologies for newly emerged integrated broadcastbroadband (IBB) systems could be of value to enrich IPTV
services further.
Resolves:
- also encourage the exchange of information on enhanced
content delivery systems in collaboration with IP for IBB
systems.
