Project Goals:
• To build our own website
• To research information about internet and
internet security
• To learn about networking
• To teach how to build simple website
Project Plan:
• To build a C program that will act as
Google
• This program will start simple by searching
one document for the occurrence of one
letter
• Eventually we hope to be able to search
multiple documents for occurences of
multiple words

• Internet – A computer network consisting
of a worldwide network of computer
networks that use the TCP/IP network
protocols to facilitate data transmission
and exchange
• Computer Network – A system of
computers interconnected by telephone
wires or other means in order to share

• Internet Security – Different programs and
applications used to better provide privacy
and protection against online piracy,
hacking, and identity theft.
• HTML- HyperText Markup Language,
written in form of tags with brackets, is the
predominant language for Web pages
