CNNIC takes the N-ID research as one of
new Researches on Internet Addressing




In 2004, CNNIC set up the RFID group to
study the RFID relevant technology
In 2005, CNNIC became the member of
EPCglobal China to study EPC ONS
In 2006, CNNIC joined RFID Standardization
Work Group of MII to make the national
addressing standard for RFID
In 2007, CNNIC made cooperation with
NIDA to study Multiple ID Resolution

At 16th April 2007, NIDA and CNNIC had a F2F meeting in
Beijing, and made the final charter of RFID Working Group.
The Cooperation With NIDA

RFIDWG’s goals and milestones of 2007
January - July 2007: Produce the document
about design of OID system.
 Aug. – Nov. 2007: Implement OID system
and inter-work between CNNIC and NIDA.
 May 2007: Make an Internet Bulletin Board
and upload documents about RFID things
such as standard.
 Dec. 2007: Produce the document about
test of OID system between KR and CN.

