MIB Module Overview
• draft-rohit-ancp-nas-mib-00.txt describes
managed objects for managing Network Access Servers
(NAS) that supports Access Node Control Protocol.

Configuration Table
• Used to configure interface specific ANCP
parameters including neighbors (AN)
• A neighbor is identified with a name and an ID
– The name can be hostname, and ID can be IP/MAC
address of the AN.
• A access node port is identified by a client-ID
and a neighbor
– The client-ID is the Access-Loop- Circuit-ID [format as
per TR-101]
E.g. neighbor name: 3088-10.154.114.132

Session Table
• Shows the operational state of ANCP
sessions on the NAS.
• One entry per ANCP session
• Session identified by a unique session-ID
Port Table
• Shows the ports known to the NAS and
their state and DSL line parameters.
• One entry per AN port
• Port uniquely identified by Access-LoopCircuit-ID
• AN ports can be configured or learnt (via
ANCP Event messages). Configured ports
have a corresponding entry in the
ancpNasIfConfigTable.

• Informs the management station about
state changes of ANCP sessions and
ANCP ports
