All the students
are happy, drinking some
coffee, discussing which
project group to attend.
When suddenly somebody
switches on his laptop
… and surfs the Internet
while having a cup of
coffee
… obviously somewhere
there is a W-LAN base
station

… connect to W-LAN
But some of them
… have severe connection
problems
… Something must be done

based on real world data

algorithms for balancing network
– Adjust, improve, or re-design algorithms or data
structures for stability and efficiency

MANET
– Apply Peer-to-peer (P2P) networking
– For retrieving node-based routing information

mobile transaction protocols, data placement/caching
strategies
