Analog Telephone Adaptor
• ATA 181 turns a regular phone into an IP phone
– Makes V.90 modem calls to connect to an ISP
– Ideal for outbound IP calls
• Users place VoIP calls without a PC
– Calls can be placed to another H.323 device
– Calls to any phone on the PSTN can be placed through an
Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP)
