• BCI’s ATN Router is a Class 4 ATN router in accordance
with ICAO Doc 9705

Support all ATN OSI protocols: IDRP, CLNP, ES-IS, and

• Can operate without a PKI using pre-shared keys
• TCP/IP (RFC 1006) to TP4/CLNP Gateway
• For AMHS Systems which only have AMHS over
TCP/IP
• Could also be used for AIDC to have dual-stack
capability

• BCI’s Ground-Ground Router also supports Air-Ground
Application Routes
• Support Air-Ground Routing Policy based on IDRP
attributes to signal Traffic Type
• Can be used as Backbone for Air-Ground Traffic
-Support 10,000 Air-Ground Routes
• BCI is currently developing an Air-Ground Router
• Will support Mobile SNDCF, VDL-2 Packet Level
Procedures, and VDL-2 Handoff Across VDL
Ground Stations
